Following on from 2007's hit’ Mehndi Night’ Mulberry had another successful performance this year with 2008's Stolen Secrets. The play was written by our playwright in residence Finn Kennedy in collaboration with a group of students in a series of after school workshops. For an outline of the plot, please click here

The production was extremely well received playing to full houses every day and had a four star review in The Scotsman newspaper. The students conducted themselves professionally and gained enormously in confidence and skill.

On return to school the team revived the play which has been shown to the entire staff as part of a professional development session. Staff were inspired by watching our students perform in such a professional way. Three hundred students have also had the chance to watch an after school performance and a great many of them have now expressed a desire to be part of the project for 2009's play 'The Unravelling'...
